I got my hair done once after moving & it was crazy expensive, almost double what I was paying in So.Cal! With being a single mom & starting life over, paying that much for anything for myself wasn't an option.. I had kiddos who needed & wanted things, & I felt like that was selfish of me. So I said,

With being a single mom & starting life over, paying that much for anything for myself wasn't an option.. I had kiddos who needed & wanted things, & I felt like that was selfish of me. So I said, "NO MORE!" & I never dyed my hair again. I started growing it out cold turkey. Not wanting to spend the money on having someone blend it, I just went with the natural grow-out.. But being so blonde & growing that out 😵‍💫 was noooooot easy!!! The first 4 inches ( give or take ) was the absolute worst! I had that crazy growth line from drak brown, with gray, to bleach blonde... it was torture! But once I hit the next "phase" where your hair kinda starts to grow "unevenly," it was so much better! My hair started to do a natural ombre, & the dark & blonde started to blend at the grow out line.. Also, the blonde started to fade. (for lack of a better term). Which was super weird to me... I never talked to a stylist about growing my gray out, so I wasn't aware of the process or what the blonde would do. I just assumed that what was blonde would stay blonde until I cut it off... NOPE!!! 😳 It started to turn back to brown!!! 🙌 Thank God for that, because once that started to happen, it made the process soooooo much easier!! But in the back of my head, I was thinking it would look better! 😅 Not the color, but the overall all health of my hair! Here, I was not putting color or bleach on my hair & growing out what should be healthy hair, right? No, it was still trashed! REALLY TRASHED! So I did the BIG CHOP!!! THAT WILL HELP!!!! 😃 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐 Again... NO! Yes, being shorter helped some, but my hair was just super unhealthy... Enter MONAT & the focus on SCALP HEALTH! ✨️ And the transformation speaks for itself!! 💁‍♀️ I'm here to tell you it's WORTH it! Heres your sign to keep going! It will get better!
