You can use mayo or butter for the outside of the grilled cheese. I always use 2 pieces of cheese.

I am from Canada and I still live here. If I drink hot chocolate it is full of alcohol and it is definitely NOT enjoyed with a grilled cheese sandwich. 🤷🏼♀️
