I lost my daughter at 22w due to PPROM. I’m pregnant again and when I found out it’s a boy I took it pretty hard. I had imagined my entire future with my daughter, and it was hard to reimagine

as a tfmr stillbirth mum I went team green with my rainbow baby because I knew I would be disappointed if my rainbow wasn't also a girl cus I lost my daughter that i dreamed about

My tfmr child was a girl, and I was so happy to have her, and I felt robbed of a daughter & I know for a fact in a sub pregnancy I’d be devastated if I didn’t get the chance to have a daughter. I may be one and done! So it means a lot

Agreed! As a loss parent, just b/c you had a loss, doesn’t mean you can’t have complicated feelings about a future pregnancy! Yes, I want a healthy baby 1st, but feelings about gender can also exist.

I’ve decided I only want 1 kid. There’s reasons I’d love a girl and reasons I’d love a boy so I think I’ll end up being a little disappointed either way because I’ll never have the opposite experience. Like that feels reasonable??

YES. I had minimal gender disappointment. My first baby (TFMR) was a boy. This time, I was so hoping for a girl, but it’s another boy. Being that this is probably my last, I do feel robbed.
