I definitely code switch. . But I also fear it's a 'customer service' voice vs your comfy voice. . I've been trying to stick to my comfy natural tone versus the valley girl.

i have my “customer service voice” that’s very high pitched and feminine and it comes out when i’m meeting new people but my voice drops when i get more comfy. don’t even realize i’m doing it tho

for me, when I want to speak out a harsh truth I'd use a more gentle and feminine tone to ease out the intensity and make others less intimidated by my words.. I think it's survival tactic tho
