I’ve never actually tried salt and straw but I have their ice cream cookbook and it’s the only ice cream base recipe that I make now. It’s so good and doesn’t end up super hard and unscoopable.

I live in Oregon and until recently the nearest salt and straw was a good 30 minutes away. They recently opened one less than 10 minutes from my house.
