while you are at it study for the license to use them you have to have a fcc operators license to talk on them or you could get a up to a 10.000 fine and the radios confiscated

they are illegal for kids to use. you have to take a test and pay for a license. You can goto prison for not having a license or causing interference. Get Gmrs radios and pay for the license.
