@kianilarose: mobility aids >>> suffering I have a dynamic disability called Epidermolysis Bullosa. this is a rare condition that causes my skin to tear, blister, & easily sore from trauma or friction. this disability can fluctuate in severity depending on multiple factors, but most of my flare-ups occur after excessive activities like walking or running. my pain and symptoms widely vary so I can be walking one minute and limping the next. mobility aids would help give my body the support it needs in the given moment. I was taught to suffer in silence rather than use mobility aids. limping was more socially acceptable than utilizing a walker or a wheelchair.
