If I remember right from when I did AIP, Trader Joe's has plain riced cauliflower in the frozen section.

ughhhhh eating is the worst. and the sensory overload. and eating disorder history on top of the autism makes it very hard. I never know if it's disordered eating or my brain but it's hard. 🖤

I get exhausted by how long it takes me to eat a salad. I eat them, but it literally takes me 45 minutes to an hour, even if I love it.

It's so rare to hear this complex experience reflected back to me. On top of this, I have been doing the meals for my mom and she has food restrictions 🫠

Really appreciate you saying this. I also had an eating disorder in the 90s, I didn’t realize the way we did it was disconnecting food from pleasure. Thank you for your insights 🙏

I eat the same thing every day, & I call it ‘Resistance Fuel’ - it’s whole food that I prep & can for 2 weeks worth. It saved my life. I had to figure it out for myself. Keep going, Brown!

And if you can enjoy it, eat and drink probiotics to deal with higher fiber problems. It takes time but you WILL feel better because of it. 💯

It’s a nightmare. I have no appetite until I’m absolutely starving. Then I binge because my body doesn’t tell me when to stop. It feels hopeless sometimes.

I like to make a tray of “grabby foods” (peeled tangerines, nuts, cut up veg of any kind, gf crackers, dates, fake cheese, etc) and keep it in the fridge for anytime eating. Getting past that “don’t wanna prep because I can’t make decisions” stage is crucial for me
