@chek.news: A man in Nanaimo was sent to hospital Tuesday night with serious injuries after an altercation occurred with another man. Police say the altercation took place in the 100 block of Nicol Street at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The minutes-long attack was all caught on camera and would’ve been partially witnessed by a number of people passing in vehicles. Surveillance video shared with CHEK News shows a group of people sitting in front of a tattoo shop on Nicol Street Tuesday morning.
