My niece started drinking out of actual cups but she’s used to just dropping her bottle so she just drops the cup when she’s done drinking 😭

In my young toddler classroom, I immediately give them open cups. It's messy at first, but they get the hang of it really fast! We don't make a big deal about the spills; in fact, they clean them!

I worked at a daycare who did this for prek and babies room and at first I thought they were insane but 99% of the kiddos get open cup concept down really good! I love this stage so much learning 😍
