I bought a brand new civic in 2018 my note was only 288 I paid her off last year and someone rammed into me. Insurance paid me 15k but cars in that price range are garbage and have a million miles

I’m in the same boat. Have an old but paid off car and prices for both new and used are mind boggling! My mindset still says car payments shouldn’t be more than $400 a month 🤦🏻♀️😂

I like my Mazda cx5. Very safe and reliable around $30k. It’s not super cheap or anything, but I would say the car is also not low end (at least compared to my first car a Ford fiesta lol)

I bought a 2014 Honda accord new with 0% financing it’s 10 years old and has 200k miles and it’s the best car ever! It was only $24k new now they are like 35k and it makes me mad.

Yes, being in car sales they are expensive. Covid period didn't help that made supply and demand climb. It's slowly coming down but still not fast. If you can use a EV most will have $20k incentives
