ur so brave for showering w a central line. when I had mine I couldn’t unless I was in the hospital w my nurses nearby. I was so scared of getting infected

I was once told that using alcohol to wipe off the excess iodine basically reverses the sterility of the area or something… Although if I leave it under the dressing, I get unbelievably itchy 😅
