World this be feasible in for example Norway where you get 25 cents for returning your plastic bottle, or is it better to recycle them and just buy the filament?

Can you show how you start a new spool? Let’s say, how to pull the melted plastic from the nozzle in a string.

I’ve been looking for a simple but beautiful and not rechargeable lamp like this for years! Definitely going to be buying one soon. Are there restrictions for the type of bulbs that can be used?

In UK/Europe, PET bottles are already in a closed loop recycling model. Removing them from that to create filament and a single use object means new PET bottles to replace those removed from the loop.

This is awesome, great process design!!!
I wonder if you could remove a step by letting the machine also cut the bottle? Maybe the pressure would be too much pressure.
