as a mod pack developer I can tell you the reason we do this is because we become burnt out from trying to fix that issue for so long that we don't even want to talk about it after it's been fixed😭😭

My single, all time favorite patch note comes from Team Fortress 2: > Fixed a crash under 64-bit caused by some custom HUDs using Half-Life 2 HUD elements which assume the player is Gordon Freeman
