I love battle scenes so I am not your girl.Golden Son made me cry in the end. Golden son is better and if you still feel like you do after you read it then stop.

Omg. So much politics, back stabbing, fighting, action still waiting for you. I’m 1/2 through book 4. It gets HEAVY with politics for the world building. KEEP GOING!

Golden Son is AMAZING. It’s so different, it does still have the battle scenes but they’re just very different I think way more interesting. And it is absolutely going to hit you in the feels!!

Golden Son is superior to Red Rising. Red Rising was fantastic, but Golden Son really emphasizes the found family, the politics, and there are nonstop battles. So I would say it would be a toss up
