People also never think that if your account grew 20% last year your advisor is taking 1% which means they make more now cause your account is higher so now they get 1% of more of your money

what etf has .02% fee. I don't know of any additionally I don't know of any mutual fund that charges 3.65 % including advisor comp. Most are under 2.5% and many are 2 or less. Love your content.

As someone else said. I cringe when friends tell me they only pay 1% for their advisor. (At Chase) I gently say wow that’s 20k a year for your 2 mil portfolio. 😳

All my funds are under 0.1% most under 0.05% but my advisor takes 1.0%. I can’t fk this up at my age. That 1.0% is to protect me from myself. At least that’s how I rationalize it. Fwiw
