I have adhd and would have post-school meltdowns I think this is a really realistic way for a kiddo to understand what to expect, also for me I had to have like 30 minutes of quiet decompression before I could move on to whatever we needed to do during the evenings

My only suggestion is to have two weeks that way he can always see what is happening next week also and you then rotate the weeks. I have the same concept but do it monthly basis with two calendars

Visual timer and an analog clock have made a HUGE difference in my household. And daily schedule 😅
