Yes and getting mad at your kids for not noticing / doing it when you’ve done it their whole lives isn’t their fault, it’s your job to instill it in them without resentment / harsh reprimanding

One time my dad taught me that anytime he’s getting up to go to a room, he looks around to see what’s not in place and takes it. Simple but if everyone does it, huge help!
