@bratbustersparenting: Pacifier weaning for a toddler? Here’s how I would approach this. I would let them know they are a big kid now, and we would throw them out together where they can’t be retrieved. Also, I would get them something else for the transition like a special cup or something. Not sure where to start in your calm leadership journey? Check out my BratBusters Behaviour Board (Plus Toddler Basics) that I send to my parenting newsletter, linked in my bio. Then, if you’re interested in learning the tools I teach for parenting like a calm leader, check out the BratBusters Bootcamps, linked in my bio. ` ` ` #ToddlerBehaviour #ToddlerMom #ToddlerTips #ToddlerLearning #ToddlerAdventures
I have a freebie guide that has steps for pacifier weaning. Some prep goes into it like a pacifier round up so they don’t find one. Depending on the child’s age as well it’s different for safe sleep.

We just went through this with our 2.5 year old boy. The “paci fairy” came to take the pacis to babies and left him a special prize…and I can’t believe it he hasn’t once asked for it.

Any advice for thumb sucking? I’ve an almost four year old and I’m worried that it’ll only be comments from peers that will get her to kick it! She’s really trying though!
