Do you struggle when it comes to enjoying treats in a portion size that helps you feel your best? A lot of the time, people will tell me that they have given themselves full permission to eat the chocolate, cake or cookies and feel really intentional about it. So for example, I am going to have this cookie and eat it and enjoy it. They like their reasons for it and have planned in one cookie 🍪 But then they end up enjoying that cookie in the moment and feeling like its just not enough and wanting more and more. This can often lead to overeating despite making an intentional decision, and causes a lot of people to believe that they are out of control when it comes to a certain food- or feel like they have to avoid that food because they don't have any self control around it. And a lot of the time we focus on the action of not eating the food or not having it in the house, which is just a temporary band aid. All we are really doing is avoiding the food, while still having the same mindset towards it. If we haven't changed our mindset towards that food, how can we expect ourselves to truly show up from a different space around it? 🗯️ And so, I really want you to ask yourself: What is your true sweet spot when it comes to that food? Is it REALLY pleasurable to just keep on having more and more? And typically the answer will be yes, while it tastes good in the beginning- it doesn't feel good to overeat on it. In fact, for that 20 seconds of pleasure- you end up feeling crappy in your body for hours later. Eating more is not pleasurable at all. In fact, what I learnt was that eating it, enjoying it and wanting more- THAT was pleasurable. STILL actually being able to want more, because that way you can truly reflect on how delicious the food was.  And really I want you to challenge yourself. When your brain tells you you need more, or that it will be more delicious to have more. I want you to take a step back, and interrupt that overeating cycle. Instead of just running with it on default, or feel like you have to justify- really step into yourself and tell yourself “That cookie was so delicious and was more than enough. i enjoyed every single bite, and eating this portion is right for me”. Or that cookie was enough, eating more wont be as enjoyable and I can have more another time when I am hungry for it.  🍫 Head to wholesome-lee.com to apply for my 30lbs down sweet tooth boss program. It’s not just about losing the weight, but truly getting into those beliefs that not only do you radiate confidence from within, but find something SO sustainable that you actually want to stay there♥️ #weightlossideas #weightlossmindset #mindsethacks #howtoloseweight #weightlossisamindset #weightlosscoach #overeatinghelp #stopovereating #howtostopovereating #cravings
