@science.of.horror: Things I like vs didn’t like about the Netflix series on the Menendez brothers. 👎 Didn’t like the American Psycho vibe the Menendez brothers had at first. It felt so overused. Some scenes in particular felt unrealistic. I was pretty annoyed until about episode 3 or so. 👍 Then I gave in to the confusion and realized it’s not a bug, it’s a feature. We see various points of view because that’s what the jury saw as well, and for a reason they could not reach a verdict (trial 1) or reached one but didn’t go with the maximum penalty. 💾 I remember following the case in the 1990s as a young teen. I was also obsessed with it back then, was sure they were SA’d but then something in the public view shifted - not sure what and when - then things were not so clear anymore. I’m not saying this was correct but this is how it was. 🤓 Anyway, I want to learn (relearn) everything about the case now, so will watch the Menendez brotehers documentary next.
