I got hair Botox done 3-4 times over 1.5 years. I’m not sure if it was the product or the excessive use of heat to seal in the treatment but my hair thinned out so much. I’ve been growing it out (1/2)

both keratin and Botox messed up my hair. it's marketed as 'better' than Keratin yet botox made my hair permanently straight and caused hair loss, still trying to fix my hair years later 😭

L'Oreal Fiberceutic was the original treatment offered as "hair Botox" (which was super confusing since it's actually a hair filler). While it was available, every salon used it as a premium add-on

I think when they say it needs to be maintained every x amount of months, I don’t think it’s because it wears off but because the new growth won’t look like the hair that’s been treated

I’ve gotten this done, my hair is fine Type 4. I first started using Naturally Straight which is ok, but doesn’t last very long. Then I used Avlon Texture release. Loved it, got 3 uses out of the box
