Movers are really helpful if you can afford it, but be weary of the less expensive ones! we could barely afford it but our cheap moving company broke a lot of things that were packed really well

label everything, consolidate and donate anything you aren’t attached to! we rented & packed a uhaul ourselves but hired a driver so it wasn’t as $$ as movers but deff cut our stress in half!

Sell all your stuff you aren’t invested in. Honestly the uhaul was not worth it and we got rid of so much stuff once we got here. I wish I would have saved the thousands it took to move cross country
