@abc7chicago: A driver was luckily left unharmed after a large tree branch fell right on top of a car as Hurricane Milton approached DeLand, Florida, on Wednesday, October 9. Footage from a DeLand police officer’s patrol car shows a car in front driving down South Clara Avenue when suddenly a branch falls. Photos of the vehicle show that the windscreen on the passenger side was crushed. Police said the driver was “OK”, but used the incident as an opportunity to caution residents to stay sheltered. “We urge residents to stay off the roads, and remember a countywide curfew will go into effect at 8 pm tonight,” police said in a Facebook post on Wednesday. #news #weather #storm #hurricane #hurricanemilton
