@allantheshearer: First lamb of the season 🐑 October is normally a bit early for lamb shearing around here, but there were a couple of big, early born lambs on this property that were ready for a trim. Usually around mid November I start to shear a few more lambs with their mother's and then January/February, I head back to farms where the lambs were too small in the spring for shearing. I was pretty happy with how I shore this lamb considering I was using a thick comb for the mob as it was mostly big ewes(usually lambs need thinner combs to enter the wool as it's denser on the skin than ewes). #shearing #wool #lamb #lambshearing #naturalfibers #sheep #satisfying #woolmonth #shearingiscaring #animalwelfare
