Goodness, doing routine bloods when anyone comes in with those symptoms is THE FIRST port of call! If someone is ADMITTED for ANY medical reason, bloods are the first thing. with a temp IV antibiotics

That’s because no one is qualified anymore and NHS is falling into pieces. My husband nearly died because of appendix and the doctor didn’t even know even though I did.

This hurts 😢 my mum died from it. She walked in In excruciating pain to be sent home with aspirin- she died 4 days later. No tests, nothing!

I was in A&E waiting room for over 4 hours waiting for a blood test after the A&E GP said I was showing signs of sepsis. I ended up having sepsis, I’m lucky I’m alive

I had sepsis for 14 hours. Went into septic shock and still wasnt tested untill it was almost over. After 14 hours of pain they tested me and told me i needed emergency life threatning surgery!!!

Sepsis is horrible I have had it a few times the first 2 we’re not picked up at hospital as they didn’t test my partner demanded they test me and I had it both times nothing has changed the nhs

I honestly thinks it's a wide spread issue across the NHS. I had sepsis after having my baby and I almost died from it because the hospital didn't treat me and then tried to send me home to "sleep it off". if I had went home, I'd have died. I showed every single sign of sepsis and it still got missed until I was literally given "an hour to live and fight"
