not even oem plastics will withstand the heat fatigue on the long run with that design (had an s40 4t) , but you can add fins for structural strength on the top and maybe thermal dissipation

lol 3d printed. I used 3d printed headlight adapter on my car and the LED heat literally melted the printed plastic.

I did the same thing with an intake manifold for my Porsche 924. It worked very well until it inevitably cracked. Still a very cool process. Cool to see others looking into it
