They shouldn’t have to fill out a form to see if they apply. FEMA should automatically send the money to people who live in the area’s effected no questions asked

She is so sweet and funny. Her voice is soothing. They should just start posting their cash apps or venmos and people can send them money directly.

We send money everywhere else without questions without knowing what the money is being spent on why can’t money go to these people they have records to show who owns homes there or lives there

But if a tree does fall and you got homeowners insurance you still get denied. And it is also a loan not a payment.

99% get denied the first time in hopes folks don’t apply again etc most times it’s denied first and second time. 3rd time it’s approval

This really goes to show. The institutions we were taught to believe in will not be there when we actually need them. We the people. Are the only ones to save ourselves in crisis.

You guys are not forgotten! My husband and I are taking two 8x12 lofted sheds to East tn/North Carolina in the morning to go to 2 families in need. They each have a generator, lights, mini fridge, microwave, sleeping bags, pillows, coffee pot, coffee and much more. Basically a temporary shelter. The majority is out of pocket for us but we would love to keep doing more of them. Just not sure on how to raise the money to do more.
