That’s an insane price. Even if they don’t have a detailed price sheet, they should be able to give estimates on cost. Having it be a mystery until you pick it up is unacceptable

This is part of why I’m scared off from needlepointing, the fact that finishers don’t share their pricing reinforces the idea that it’s a hobby for rich people without a budget.

i’ve decided to self finish because i *cannot* justify the prices for LNS finishing. its a fun hobby, but i dont need it to become a huge expense!

That’s so frustrating that they aren’t transparent and that they are charging for $150 even after the finisher got glue on it! I haven’t had anything finished lately other than like large stockings
