Question guys I have a 94 4Runner and I kinda have the same issue with a long crank but she fires up and runners with the tps sensor unplugged but when I plug it in she dies any help?

Would the unplugged ect sensor have resulted in a dead temp gauge or is that a different sensor

I know one thing these new GDI cars really need to take after this Toyota idea where it sprays fuel in the intake on startup on the back of the valves. would save people so much money.

if there isn't any coolant, what temp is it reading? put coolant in it and it will be a different response.
