my cousin won the lottery (big)...she disrespected her parents and turned her back to them...but still she won the lottery and then turned her back to all of us....how is that part of the past trauma and karma?

I know general family patterns of my parents and grandparents, but none of them really wanted to talk about their pasts and there are no written records. The patterns I know of are loss, a challenge to have enough money to survive, betrayal, infidelity, and alcoholism. There are also stories of strength, survival, familial love, and courage. Do you recommend a way to find out more about our ancestral history - through psychic readings, perhaps?
