It can also mess up your thyroid if you have underlying thyroid issue. A lot of people aren’t aware. It sent me full blown into hyperthyroidism and Graves.

And I should add the caveat that in patients with volume overload conditions that cirrhosis or advanced kidney disease, I tell them 2 liters of water vs a gallon….
