I am a native Delawarian. Philly is 45 minutes north of me. The flyers had Dave Schultz he didn't play hockey. He was a paid enforcer. The local radio station used to play a song called sitting in the penalty box with Schultz.

Don’t forget the Red Army already beat the Rangers, Bruins & tied Montreal. NHL didn’t want the Flyers to play the Red Army cause they were embarrassed the way Flyers played. Then we stomped them

Grew up in Philly during that time. Dave “The Hammer “ Shultz was the main one but whole team fought. Players would get the Flyer’s Flu to skip game
