I pulled up a corner of carpet to reveal hardwood, unfortunately that just happened to be the only corner in that room that was hardwood 😂 just like 3ft of hardwood and then subfloor 🤣

I would much rather there be floor rugs than carpet. They can be taken outside and cleaned/thrown in the wash/thrown away.

i personally think wooden floors are much more cozier than most carpets. so don't stress yourself thinking you might loose the cozy touch.

make sure you test your stain color on the parts of the floor with stains set in because lighter stain colors may not fully cover that and you may have to go darker to hide them!

I prefer hardwood over carpet with my pets. So much easier to keep clean without a huge steam cleaner

so much better and healthier than carpet. carpet traps so much dander, mites, allergens, mold pores, dirt & dust. good choice. it will look so cozy once you're settled in!
