Since I started keeping Patrick Star-inspired creatures in my aquarium, my fascination with these animals has only grown. Recently, I received some exciting news that has taken my shrimp-raising journey to the next level: my blue shrimp has successfully molted! This transformation has made him even more handsome and imposing, showcasing vibrant blue hues that make him stand out in the tank. One of the most striking features of my blue shrimp is his massive claws. They're not just for show - they exude a sense of dominance and power that's both intimidating and impressive. Despite his clear, almost collegiate eyes that might make him seem innocent at first glance, don't be fooled. This shrimp has a very irritable and aggressive personality. No matter who you are, he views every piece of meat as his own, making interactions quite challenging. It's disheartening to see such behavior, especially when I diligently feed him every day, only to face unexpected attacks. But it's not all rough interactions. I've developed a keen interest in his shell, which is as fascinating as his behavior. Taking the time to study his shell has provided deeper insights into his unique traits. Recently, I noticed a remarkable change - my mantis's eyes have turned purple! Previously, they were a pristine white, but this transformation adds a new layer of mystery and allure to his appearance. My blue shrimp possesses an incredible skill: reversing into the garage area of the aquarium with precision. However, this sometimes leads to his legs crossing the boundary lines, earning him a metaphorical "100-point deduction" and failing the "exam." Despite being cold-blooded, his need for constant feeding remains a priority. Unlike other shrimps whose feeding might not be as secure, mine is assertive and demands attention, often trying to snatch food right from my hands. It's both amusing and frustrating to watch him display such behavior. Feeding him has become a hands-on experience, requiring me to hand-feed him to ensure he gets his meals. In the wild, he wouldn't receive such care, making his domesticated life quite different from his natural habitat. This brings me to an important point - my blue shrimp still doesn't have a name.
