Genuine question, re: keeping flow of traffic. If lane 1 is going 50-55mph, 2nd lane open, I’ll go to middle lane and go at 70mph. If someone comes up flashing, and 3rd lanes free, they can go round.

Not a middle lane hogger but if if HGVs are abundant, nobody wants to be constantly lane changing. A rethink is needed when it’s busy

In simple terms lane 1 is slow, lane 2 is normal, lane 3 is the fast lane. The problem is too many people drive too slow on 2 and 3😅💯👍

Let’s be real. You’re correct. However, not many follow that rule. Lane 1 is for slow drivers, lane 2 is for casual cruise and lane 3 is for over taking . I have never driving on lane 1 unless exitin

When there is heavy traffic on left lane what speed should I drive in middle lane so not called a middle lane hogger? Remember there is a trucks queue on left lane.

Agree with this but we also need to address the problem of people sitting in lanes doing 40 on a motorway. I think this would stop people from using the middle lane.
