@animauxseauvageslove: Twiggy is our sweet babysitter. She enjoys joining the Guardians and other orphans for part of their day, quietly observing their antics from close range. Twiggy makes time for everyone, connecting with elephants, rhinos and small animals for specific activities. In her book, the orphans' 11 a.m. mud bath is a must (although she would never wallow – she's far too graceful for such an earthly pastime!). Recently, little Chamboi has become a favorite friend. The giraffe joins the young rhino and his keepers for short excursions, before making his rounds with the next group on his route. We rescued Twiggy in November 2021 after receiving reports of a little orphaned giraffe trying to join a herd of zebras. She is now growing up in our Kaluku hatchling nursery, where she leads an eclectic group of orphaned wildlife.
