I climbed Katadin. About 30!years ago all the way from the forest campground to Baxter It was steeper than Mt Washington which you can drive up to walk or take a train I’m glad I did it then.

I climbed Katahdin a few weeks ago and it was incredible. Knife edge on the way up was hard but the way down on Saddle trail was no easy task

we love katahdin!! it’s one of the end points of the appalachian trail and is the end (or start) of the hardest part of the trail, the 100 mile wilderness

I climbed that about 30 yrs ago, straight up all rock, going down wasn’t fun, need a walking stick to slow you down. But I’m glad I did it.
