i swear i have the most intense love hate relationship with nyc. one minute i’m overstimulated, exhausted, freezing, stepping in dog poop, and counting down the days until i move. the next minute i wake up to a pink sunrise outside my apartment window and i’m like… ok fine. i get it. this is why people fall in love with nyc. living in manhattan but staring at the brooklyn skyline feels like being stuck between wanting peace and wanting the energy. nyc makes everything harder and somehow makes everything feel more alive at the same time. anyway this is your sign to romanticize your morning, open the window, and let the city have its little moment
