It’s easy when you start with a language similar to German like Afrikaans, most words sound similar or the same

If the words are pronounced ecactly how they are spelled explain why museum is not pronounced Mu-zoy-m cause I was told when an e and u are together its pronounced oy... example Zeug

never knew that every word's letters are all pronounced , that's a very good rule of thumb to remember when learning 👍🏻
