@iloveatiya: Can you believe that right after I was violated I heard one of these sentences from a family member? And then over a span of time have had these things said to my face by people I actually knew? And even by OTHER survivors?!? So this is your gentle reminder to watch your words. Survivors struggle with self blame & it is not your job to analyze the victim instead of the person who caused the crime. Send this to someone who needs to have more couth ❤️
