We have an elderly couple that lives across the street and they do the same thing! The entire neighborhood will go over and have afternoon snacks with Jim and Jane 💜

I really love this. I am seeing you and this for the first time on my fyp so im sorry if this has been answered, but do you have contact with the parents? Just as like... a safety thing. especially with "stranger danger" teaching as well as dietary factors.... idk if that makes sense, I just am curious about how this started and if the parents are not only ok with it but also if they can let you know about dietary restrictions and that sort of thing as well.

I was malnourished from the ages of 11 to 19. my friends were aways really nice and either brought me food or left me have whatever was left over at lunch

This. I have a garage fridge full of snacks and drinks. All kids know they can use as needed, and it’s never been abused. I’ve had neighbors drop off stuff FOR the fridge. It takes a village 💗

I do this too. All the kids come home from school and they are STARVING. I never know who will get dinner, so I make sure each kid eats before they leave my house. Sometimes they even take snacks home
