how do you know if a baby wakes for a feed/hunger or from the regression? I don't want to have him self settle and deprive my baby of a feed if he is truly hungry

I keep reading that you shouldn’t sleep train until 5-6 months. Is that true? I’ve been trying to get my 4mo to self settle and she just screams unless we rock her which is also taking ages!

Sooo maybe this is why we haven’t noticed a 4 month regression. He’s been in his own room from around 3 months and is a magic sleep suit. Self soothes if he wakes up.

I couldn't agree more! All 3 of my kids have slept through the night from 2 weeks - 3months of age and iv allowed them to self settle from the moment they were born! Iv never dealt with sleep 1)

My almost 4 month old can self-settle for every sleep and all the way through the night except for bedtime 🥲 she screams so much and does suck her thumb but can’t get herself to sleep

we only had trouble with naps during the sleep regression because I always held her for naps. but bedtime she puts herself to sleep so I didn't really notice a difference
