I think we can gift shares to a non working partner and then if they sell before Oct 30 there's only a nominal 10% cgt? can you do a post about that please?

If you sell from a fund and then re-buy in a isa within 30 days. Can you then sell and have no CGT because it is in the isa wrapper?

New to stocks-i thought we only paid cap gains on a realised gain when we finally sold or transferred stock holdings...not at the end of every tax year? as its an unrealised gain until sold?

I don't think we can avoid CGT....but we can avoid any increase.....could you clarify please? are you saying buying back negates the CGT?

Is there any tax implications from selling stocks from an ESPP with 15% discount and putting right into a S&S ISA?

Was looking at this the other day.. what’s your opinion of SB accounts for new investors? I sold and moved into a stocks ISA (should’ve started there) because I wasn’t sure if SB accounts are safe

They’re not increasing CGT. Ther is people out there hoovering up land lords properties and weak sellers stock positions based on rumours. Same people who made millions out of COVID.
