My son said “hat dog” instead of hot dog, I never corrected it and I miss hearing it 🥹 “Otay” is perfectly okay ❤️

As an SLP, I wouldn’t touch this… but I did have a parent one time whose kiddo was in THIRD GRADE and still thought it was cute that she mixed up her/she, him/he, and us/we.

my son said "blana" instead of banana. I told his sister (5 years older and very serious) to leave it be. We both cried the first time he said it correctly.

my kiddo says nep and new instead of yup and you it's my favorite and I will not correct him. he used to say "day-doe" instead of " her you go" I miss it! 😭
