I mean it in the sense that I expected at least the tiniest bit of humor from you, even just a small spark of amusement, but instead what I heard was something so completely lacking in comedy that it somehow managed to make the entire moment worse. When someone tells a joke, there is usually a basic expectation that it will bring at least a little laughter or lighten the mood. Your joke, however, managed to do the exact opposite.
