I feel like the corrugated plastic underneath is a bit of a kick in the teeth for any eco argument that can be made. If you want a natural roof surely thatching is a better route

We may have to include one on our new build south Dublin home rear extension. We get lots of squirrels, foxes & birds.. the dread of them destroying/using the grass roof with roof lights

In my opinion, grass roofs shouldn't be the shape of a traditional roof. Look to hobbits & teletubbies for proper inspiration.
