Thankfully in my district, PTC's are optional, an extra pay day if you do go, and during regular school hours in place of classes. 🙌

Ours are 1:00pm to 7:00pm, we are given no parameters for the meetings. My first year a teacher/parent luckily took me through what he does when we met about his daughter

My student teaching year I did parent teacher conferences because my mentor didn't know what was happening in the classroom. I stayed until 9pm. 6.5 hours. Only one parent showed. At 2:45pm.
