This has happened to me about 4 times this year, and I had never experienced anything like this before 😭. My lips suddenly become extremely dry, sensitive, and irritated, sometimes with a burning sensation, and I’ve also noticed that the border around my lips gets noticeably darker than usual. I don’t really have peeling or cracked/open lips, but they constantly feel dry and uncomfortable. I’ve used the same fluoride-free toothpaste since I was little, so nothing has changed there. When this happens, Vaseline is basically the only thing I feel comfortable putting on my lips because other lip products sometimes seem to irritate them even more. It eventually gets better little by little, but then it comes back again, and I still haven’t figured out what’s causing it. Has anyone experienced something similar or figured out what was triggering it?

I used to have seborrheic dermatitis. My lips have been cracking for days. It’s not itchy but I can feel it when I touch my lower lip. My mom is trying to convince me it’s because of harmattan but I feel like this is how cold sores begin 😭😭

I started using a new chapstick and this happened (I have history of eczema on my arms and I have asthma) lemme tell you I’m miserable and my lips feel sooo weird 😭

Its true! i cant use any lipbalm from vaseline, nivea and any local product. It will make worst. The only lipbalm i use right now is butter/magerine. Its really work plus Dr also suggest me to use it✨

I have a little spot like that that gets really dry and loses a little sensitivity from time to time. I thought it was because I bit my lip, but I stopped doing that and it still happens, and peeps and worse, a white spot appeared exactly above that spot. I don't know what's going on, if it's a eczena or something else 😭
