as a streamer, this is a setting I would never turn on. I’m fine with them not being in chat, but if they still want to watch they can I don’t care.

See no as a streamer myself I refuse to turn it on. They can simply watch. It’s a view regardless they can’t speak so no harm in KEEPING IT OFF. This taints views.

Banned means banned from chat. If you don’t want the viewers that were banned I guess. But I would never turn that on.

its a relatively newer setting. it's off by default because bans/timeouts are "mute" button. Sometimes used as a temporary restraint. Blocking an account blocks it all.
